The Building Technique
For thirty years, the "Product of the Year" award, created by 'Industrie-
verband Halbzeuge und Konsumpro-
dukte aus Kunststoff e.V.' of Frankfurt, Germany, has been presented to pro-
ducts made of plastic which are inno-
vative, creative and of outstanding func-
tionality. The products submitted to the competition are assessed by a highly qualified and independent judging panel, whose experts come from nine different fields of expertise. The awards go to a total of eighteen products.

The Judging Panel, quote:
"viavario-piccolo invites to play in a creative way. Due to the wide game play variety, the range of combinations is almost unlimited. A thrilling game concept."

Products entering the competition are assessed according to three criteria, i.e. innovation, design and functionality by an expert panel from industry and commerce, specialist journals, the design industry, science, consumer organizations and testing institutes.

Every year this competition and the award-winning products prove that plastics as a material has developed into a decisive key to realising inspiring novelty products.
